"We made a memory book full of photos"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I like listening to the radio & going on my Xbox. They help me to feel relaxed & chill out. My favourite game is GTA5.

Sometimes I talk to God in bed and ask him if he can get me to a low secure place. I know that he is there to listen to me, and I do this whenever I feel stressed. When I talk to God, I get shivers.

I go to the chapel with the chaplain and we pray for my dad as he died 2 years ago. We made a memory book full of photos of the things my dad did such as building things.

Me & the chaplain do listen to music together such as the music from the funeral. I like having 1: 1 sessions and getting away from the ward with him.

Hello

Thank you for your feedback. It is really interesting to hear about your memory book and also to hear about the importance of music, spirituality and the chapel in your life.

It is always great to hear about the things that mean a great deal to you and how they have helped you. I am aware that the staff are looking at what they can do to make things even better and your feedback will assist them greatly.

With best wishes

Sophia
