"Thank you for care at A&E"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a parent/guardian),

My little girl, aged 2, attended A&E for a possible dislocation. The physio, Laura, who dealt with us was fantastic. She quickly put my little girl at ease and made the whole experience really easy for us. The member of staff who carried out my little girl's x-ray was also fantastic - I didn't get her name unfortunately. She had her listening out for the fairy in the machine whilst it was taking a special photo of her hand. Both these staff members were wonderful with a toddler in a new situation and I can't praise them highly enough, especially on what was an extremely busy afternoon in A&E. Thank you.

Dear Clara T,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your feedback on your experience while attending the ED with your daughter.

I am pleased to read that you found the clinical staff that attended to her were wonderful. The staff work very hard to provide person centred care and to ensure the vulnerable and young are put at ease.

I will ensure the staff are informed of your kind words of thanks

I hope that your daughter is recovering well and feeling better.

Best wishes

Andy
