I visited Huddersfield Royal Infirmary today to talk over a procedure I will be getting. I walked in scared about the idea of having this done. The staff nurse I saw was VERY friendly and put me at ease immediately, explaining that the risks mentioned in the booklet I was given were extremely minimal and even if anything wrong did happen - the doctor/surgeon carrying out the procedure would immediately correct things. I find it very difficult to feel comfortable discussing medical things - even to medical professionals - but this person is an asset to the hospital and I only wish I was alowed to mention their name.
