From receiving breast screening locally in mobile unit to breast screening department in Foresterhill, Aberdeen where second mammogram and biopsy taken to Clinic E, ARI when results confirmed cancer cells.
I met breast care nurse and received all information I needed to admittance to ward 309, ARI for surgery, meeting and receiving care from Radiology Department before my surgery, meeting theatre staff, surgical team and back to Ward. I unfortunately had a sensitive reaction to surgery and ended up back in ARI a weel later.
I cant thank everyone enough for the wonderful way I was treated. Respect, dignity and it was the way all staff made me feel that they really cared what happened to me. Am not forgetting porters who made me laugh and domestic staff who keep us safe and clean and also have a great sense of humour.
The whole service was proof how we are so afraid to lose the care we all need at our time of need and the very people who make a difference every day
