"MRI scan"

I had an MRI scan of my head at William Harvey hospital. I was extremely anxious about entering the scanner and told the staff this. They agreed to play the radio through the headphones when I requested it, held my hand when I was scared of being put in the tunnel after one aborted attempt and kept me informed via intercom of the length of each sequence of scans. Overall, the staff made the scan as bearable as possible for me - I couldn't have completed it without their help. Well done MRI team.
