A difficult site to get to from where I live, as I do not have my own transport and am normally happy to rely  on buses (free)/trains).   Not a good service (hourly/two buses) from the east side of Southampton where I live, and as far as I can see a fair distance to walk from the bus into the hospital site (even if  weather is good).   I decided to use the subsidised taxi service provided by Eastleigh Council.   Straight there and back, although a long wait on return because there is a school contract to fill first - total cost £18.  Staff were being helpful in giving me an appointment at what seems to be  the nearest hospital, but in practice St Marys is better. For me, Coldeast seems to be out in the middle of nowhere!
