My father was admitted to Emergency care from Physio rehab as his oxygen levels had dropped alarmingly.
He was cared for very effectively, treated directly as the patient and his views sought wherever possible.
His family were also involved in all decisions.
We were very struck by the exceptional teamwork and hand-over process, both between and within wards, giving us the confidence that there was good continuity of his treatment plan.
Sadly he subsequently died.
However, from the initial contact by a doctor through to the administrative afternmath details, the family are grateful for the sensitive care and consultative process.
Thank you for
St Mary's for helping us all.
