"Broken wrist presented Friday evening 24/3/17"

About: York Hospital / Accident and emergency

Arrived at the A&E dept at approx 20.15hrs.

By around 20.30hrs I had been seen and an x-ray had been carried out within an hour of arrival. Feedback was more or less immediate and a course of action was decided in full consultation with myself.

At all times each member of the team, from nursing staff to doctor to radiographer were extremely courteous and friendly

I was able to leave the hospital at around 22.10 hrs which we thought was a pretty amazing turn around time given the level of service I received.

I would like to thank and commend each member of staff for their professionalism, care , courtesy and friendly approach to there work.

10 out of 10 to each and everyone and thank you all from my husband and myself.

Regards,

Kaye and Dave Murphy.

Dear Mr and Mrs Murphy

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

I am so pleased to hear about your experience within our Emergency Department at York Hospital, it's great to hear that we were able to see you quickly and that all the staff were caring and friendly.

We are very proud of our staff and we know that they always strive to provide the best service to our patients; it's great to get feedback from our patients reflecting this and we will ensure that this is passed on to the staff involved.

I hope that you are recovering well and that you will receive the same high standard of care should you need our services again in the future.

Wishing you the best
