"Fantastic Neurology Staff"

I have had a recent diagnosis of MS following several months of tests which were necessary as my symptoms were not typical. I have had things explained to me every step of the way. The staff, from my own GP, to the staff who looked after me when I was in hospital for 3 days for a lumbar puncture and steroid treatment, to the neurology department and the MS Team have been exceptional during what has been a very scary time. The MS team - particularly the MS Nurse Consultant has gone above and beyond with their help and support, even giving me help and advice with benefits. This extra support is given despite the obvious very heavy workloads managed by a relatively small team for the large population of Sunderland. All of this contributes to my well being in dealing with a difficult change to my life. Please accept a huge thank you.
