"We were treated with the utmost professionalism"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

We would like to thank the Paramedics and the staff at Hairmyres A&E for their excellent treatment from leaving the house to my husband getting back home.

We were treated with the utmost professionalism and great kindness and reassurance.

Our thanks go out to Anna and Claire (Drs) and to Jennifer and Andy the Nurses.

(sorry but not able to remember the ambulance crews names)

Dear myd123

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience. I am delighted to read that your husband was treated with kindness and professionalism during his emergency attendance.

It is important for staff to receive feedback and I will be really pleased to share your comments with the team and especially with those staff you have mentioned. I will also discuss with our ambulance colleagues.

An emergency attendance can be a very stressful experience for both the individual and family members. Providing a calm and reassuring environment is important. For staff to hear that they did this well provides positive reflection on which to build their skills.

I hope that your husband is recovering well.

Thank you again for your kind comments.

Best Wishes

Lise
