I attended for a minor operation day case. I have to say I was in awe with regards the professionalism, help and support show by all the staff on the occasion of my visit today.
On arrival to the ward T7, I was shown to the quiet room to await the next development. This was the only down side. Very hard seating on my fractured hip didn't help, no windows and rather dingy. But then the staff arrived and immediately brightened my mood which for me was a worring day due to thought of the surgery still to come.
Everything went well, my wife who came along for support was also looked after by the hospital staff.
Then lunch. Pea soup followed by Cheese and onion pie was superb. Thanks to the cookery staff.
Thank you to one and all for today's wonderful service.
"Wonderful service"
