About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Medicine (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

My father was admitted to ward 2 hairmyres hospital, with chest and urine infection. I want to thank all the staff for excellent care. They were all very courteous and friendly towards him and us as visitors. , in particular Barbara. As visiting in this ward was only 7-8pm we found the "John's Campaign" a great help, this allowed us to visit at other times especially as my father was disorientated and confused. I also want to comment on the cleanliness of the ward, I was impressed when I saw the cleaner on her hands and knees cleaning the bottom of the beds. Thank you.

I will share your comments with the team and In particular Barbara. Ward 2 have worked hard and are very proud to support 'John's Campaign' and your positive feedback will be very encouraging to the team.

I am also pleased to read about the standard of cleanliness on the ward, this will also be fed back to all the team members.
