I visited Dunfermline Queen Margaret Hospital on Monday for a Colonoscopy examination recently and from entry to exit the treatment I received was first class. I was barely 3 or 4 minutes in reception when the Staff Nurse (Ann) took me under her wing and interviewed me and then took me to the changing rooms, where another couple of minutes passed and then I was taken to the procedure room. in no time at all everything was under way. I was back out in no time at all and yes it was barely noticeable, maybe a slight discomfort but it cannot be termed anything other than that. then into the recovery ward for a short stay before being given a snack and a cup of tea by that nice Ann and then off home, from arrival at 1. 30 until leaving the premises at 4. 30. the time went by fairly quickly, so if it needs done, get it done, there is nothing to fear. all in all I enjoyed my visit to QMH.
