Just want to commend the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals for the excellent care I have received over 5 days at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne.

People always complain when things go wrong, but I just want to say the care I have received has been absolutely brilliant from going in at 7am, to meeting the day care staff, then the surgical team, theatre staff, surgeon, having my new hip installed and then the after care from the 24 hour staff on Ward 19, Nurses, Healthcare's, housekeeper, OT's and Physios has really been the best in the world and FREE at the point of need! Where else in the world could you get this? ? ? Wanted to thank everyone as the care, respect, and patience I have received has been simply THE BEST!

#LovetheNHS! Keep our NHS safe and well done NUTH! Amazing staff xx THANK YOU!

I am going home to start my road to recovery so thank you again. You should all be proud of what you do!
