"Utterly hopeless. Avoid if you possibly can...."

About: University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

In the past 11 months I have seen an eminent and experienced neurologist;neurophysiologist; consultant ENT surgeon and consultant speech and language therapist. All four doctors have examined me thoroughly and all advised that botox injections to my jaw was the recommended treatment to alleviate my worsening jaw tremor. After 11 months of waiting I finally got to see the recommended injector in February 2017. Within 5 minutes they advised me that in view of the type of my tremor botox would not work. They were right. Why the colleagues had not picked this up over the preceding 11 months was not explained.

The doctor I saw was very late for the meeting without explanation or apology and did not seem to be aware of my previous dealings with his colleagues. But this is standard for the National Hospital for Neurology.
