"changing an appointment"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I was transferred to Queens and given an appointment that I had to change, but to do this is almost impossible to do, the numbers that you are given are never answered and you end up back at the first number you called in the first place. even supervisors at the hospital switchboard couldnt get through on internal numbers that they say are not allowed to be given out to the public. each time I called I was on the phone for over an hour without getting anywhere, I eventually got through after doing this for three days.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment. I am sorry to read of the problems you encountered when trying to cancel an appointment. Please can you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison team, so that they can look into the issue relating to the uncontactable number on your appointment letter.

They can be contacted on 01708 435 454 or by email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk.

For future, to change your appointments you can use the ‘change my appointment’ section on our website: http://bhrhospitals.nhs.uk/change-your-appointment

Yours Sincerely
