"Terrible sad to say it needs funds after my visits"

About: Manor Hospital / Accident and emergency

I have visited this hospital many times. Honestly? Ive tried to ask to be taken to other hospitals rather than this one which is a shame as its my local. This place is so severely understaffed and overworked staff its despicable. I have been for both referalls and 'emergency' treatment over the past 8 years two most recent being a REFFERED BOOKED appointment from my doctors and having visited a &e when i got run over. Not going to lie maternity primrose was actually amazing minus one head midwife who tried having a go at me for feeding my child wrong. Then after the midwife i did have a visit where i came with lower quadrant pain jaundiced noticably yellow and was told by a nurse "go home your depressed" manor hospital is the reason i suffer from PTSD when i have visits there. Going back to be being recently run over i was in shock in a wheelchair and was my reports said i could walk when i couldnt i had bruising on my ribs and whiplash. And the recent booked appointment xray. I booked in i waited 2 hours only to find out the receptionist didnt book me in. Ive tried to raise many complaints and have not been heard people/'specialist's gps surgoens passing the blame. I cant step into manor hospital without having a panic attack. Its so disgusting the little people arent heard and the little people who work for them (nhs) cant be heard

I am sorry to learn of your poor experience as described above. You state that you have raised complaints before and have not been heard which again is unfortunate and not the standard we set ourselves.

Of course if you would like to speak with us further we are willing to look into the issues you have highlighted again, we can be contacted via email patientrelations@walsallhealthcare.nhs.uk or via telephone 01922 656463

Regards Garry Perry

Head of Patient Relations
