I attended A&E at Watford General with a suspected broken wrist.
From the very first contact with the receptionist (greeted with a smile) and knew that I was going to be taken care of as soon as was possible.
Initially was seen by a lovely nurse practioner who listened to my story of how it had happened etc.
I was then passed onto another nurse practitioner who organized me via email to go to X-ray, afterwards to then go back to see them in A&E.
By the time I was back to A&E the results of the X-ray had arrived.
How wonderful it was to be able to discuss fears and best practice of how to treat my broken wrist.
Being right handed, obviously I wanted to have the best outcome.
A specialist hand consultant was contacted and plaster setting options were agreed.
Next into the plaster room, the nurse practitioner also arrived to make sure that my wrist was set in the correct way.
I was then given a wonderful support sling which really did help relieve the pain.
I came away, so happy and delighted with the amazing treatment I received.
I give everyone that helped me and took care of me a huge thank you for my ***** (5 star treatment).
