My father recently spent 3 months in Lindfield Ward rehabilitation unit following a major stroke and nearly a month at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the Princess Royal.
He had the same registrar at both hospitals, who always had time to discuss things and was happy to return calls if necessary.
The occupational therapist (our main point of contact) was exceptionally dedicated and kind and the physiotherapy team excellent. The nurses, health care assistants and general ward staff were nearly all friendly, efficient, kind and caring - many with a sense of humour too.
It made a very difficult time more bearable.
The only hiccup was the inefficiency of the admin staff who were unable to coordinate his discharge efficiently, but this was a minor blip and not the ward's fault.
Thank you Lindfield Ward.
"Superb stroke rehabilitation care"
