My mother has just spent a week in gates 12&43 of pinderfields hospital. She was put in gate 43 as an extra making a 4bed ward into a 5. She had no locker for clothes , no one ever available for information on my mothers condition, she was left on the toilet for 3/4 of a hour, in which another patient brought it to the attention of a passing member of staff before my mother was rescued. The final straw being that on discharge they sent her home without her own clothes , which had been sent home with another patient, no thing on her feet, just a nightdress with a covering blanket in the ambulance. The staff nurse had the cheek to say to our enquiry of my mothers clothes that they had mistakenly sent them home with another patient and we, would have to recover them. We will be taking this complaint as far as we need to.
