About: Hammersmith & Fulham Perinatal Mental Health Team

(as a parent/guardian),

We met Lucy a Care Coordinator for adult mental health. This is the first time we had spoken or dealt with anyone from the adult team.

Straight away Lucy put my son at ease with her friendly tones and reassurance that he would be listened to. Lucy asked if she could take notes and asked questions clearly and waited patiently for a reply not rushing my son.

Lucy explained what would happen next and the next steps that would be taken in my sons treatment.

We came out of the meeting feeling that something will be done to help my son and the support network in place would be the best place to start treatment.
