Very friendly receptionist, who put me at my ease. I was lucky to hit a quiet time on a Wednesday morning so was seen quickly by triage and treated throughout with respect and dignity by all staff, who were very caring and helpful. The only hitch was the IT system, which seemed to have gremlins in it and caused a delay in registering initially and in processing the paperwork at the end, but once the IT department was contacted, the latter was resolved quickly and efficiently. The only reason I would not recommend this service for someone in my situation was that they weren't equipped to do all the necessary tests to eliminate a potential DVT, but they were able to reassure me after a series of questions, examination and BP reading that it was very unlikely to be, and to point me in the direction of others who could say definitively whether it was or wasn't, ringing local doctors' surgeries and making an appointment for me. I have no doubt that they do an excellent job in the areas they are trained to - I was simply in the wrong place!
