"Be warned - Being asked to bring appointment..."

About: Chiltern Hospital

Not impressed to receive a telephone call on morning of appointment that the evening appointment for my child needs to either be rearranged for a different day or brought forward.

I was advised that the Consultant does not like waiting around if they do not have any other appointments/gap in their appointment list.

I explained over the phone at time of booking that it is difficult to get there any earlier and this is why I was going private.

I was advised by the BMI that 'I was complicating matters.'

I have reluctantly accepted an earlier appointment but it is unlikely that I can arrive on time.

Not fair to do this to the child!

I suggest BMI look into their policy around this as I thought that patients needs should be placed first.

Poor service!
