What I liked

My Mother was in your care for several weeks during the later part of last year. She was firstly on Lady Skinner Ward where your Occupational Therapy team worked kindly and effectively with her. Just prior to her discharge home she became unwell and was moved to 8 North and then 8 West. The care and support Mum received from everyone could not have been better. The Receptionist on Lady Skinner, the doctor and the consultant, the Nurseing Staff, the Auxillaries who prepared her food and drink and cleaned her room and the Occupational Therapists who worked tirlesly with Mum all played such a large part in making Mums stay so bearable. This behavior also gave us, her children, great confidence and comfort given that we were so far spread from her. Mum sadely died on the 17th December whilst on 8 West. My brother and sisters and I are fully satisfied that no more could possibly have been done for our Mother and will remain forever in the debt of Sister and her staff who were with Mum in our stead on that night; Mum could not have been in better hands. Your staff and hospital is a credit to us all who have the benefit of ejoying such high levels of professional yet caring service from you all.

What could be improved

I don't think anything could have been improved on this occasion.
