I dread getting a call to say that one of my elderly parents has been taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. I spent 5 hours in ED today. My last visit had been two years earlier.
The place remains chaotic. I fell the nursing and support staff to lack the ability to treat you with respect. Relatives are dismissed and staff come across as brusque and disinterested. Not one nurse said hello my name is and actually engaged in a conversation that left my elderly father feeling safe and reassured.
