"Being kept in against my will"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I took an overdose at 3pm. Taken to A and E. by 9pm I felt better and reasons why I took tablets had resolved in my mind.

I wanted to go home I felt fine. Instead I was kept in overnight not allowed to discharge myself by them using the mental incapacity law against me. I know they had my best interests at heart but my will and choice were taken from me.

I am really angry about it
