What I liked

Was the warmth of all staff towards me. Everyone was so friendly and to be greeted with a smile was so nice. Everyone who was involved in my care introduced themselves and explained what was happening and why they were there to help me. This was reassuring for me to know that I was being looked after in the best possible way. I was treated very well from my pre-assessment appointment to my follow up appointment after surgery. All staff were professional at all times and even when the nurses on the ward were busy, they would always pop their head around the door and ask if I was ok or if I needed anything.

Anything else?

The parking was free which I found was a great bonus. Also the tea & coffee in the reception area was free too which I felt was a nice warming touch. As it was open visiting, my family were allowed to come and see me at any time during the day or even late in the evening whilst I was in hospital.
