I had to be induced as my baby was 11 days overdue. The nurses and midwives was brilliant and explained exactly how the induction worked and what could happen. During my labour they continued to be amazing and so helpful and friendly, in particular the main midwife who looked after me up until stage 2 labour was Steph and she was fantastic at checking on me and my husband, recommending I have a bath (which was the best things I could have done), getting my pain killers prescribed in case I couldn't go down to the labour ward and get some, taking me down to the labour ward when I had to go down even though there were no rooms ready. During my stage 2 labour a midwife called George took over and she was wonderful, encouraging me and goading me through the labour. After the birth I was looked after so well and shown how to breastfeed and change my daughters nappy, how to look after my stitches etc. The doctor who did the apgar checks was very good with her and at reassuring me.
All in all everyone was fantastic and I could not have asked for better help and support throughout my labour. Thank you to everyone who helped! !
