What I liked

everybody was helpful and kind,if i made a request for something it was usually done for me,food was okay although after being in for 4 weeks i only had 6 meals.

What could be improved

pain control.my epidural ran out at around 3 pm in the afternoon it was 7.15 by the time someone came an refilled my machine, 2 days after major bowel surgery....i was climbing the walls in pain an sobbing an still no one came.i will never go back to good hope for surgery again as the after care for pain relief was horrendous, i have had 7 major bowel ops at good hope an that was not the first time it had happened,althou hdu was spot on in pain relief.
