"Had a cyst removed from back of my head on..."

Came for my initial consultation towards end of Jan and was made to feel relaxed straight away by the nurse and doctor, was informed that there was someone observing and asked if I minded which was no problem. Was able to ask as many questions as I wanted all which were answered. Couldn't have asked for a better consultation. Expected my operation to take a few months at least. Went on holiday for a couple of weeks and arrived back to a letter saying my appointment was beginning of March - very efficient. Arrived for my appointment for my operation early and was told there was a delay, receptionist was very polite, but to be honest I was almost called on my appointment time, Straight away I was made to feel comfortable again.

I was talked through what was going to happen again as I was in my consultation and felt at ease. All throughout my operation the doctor and nurse were conversing will me which I really appreciated as it took my mind off what was happening, talking between themselves when the nurse could see I was in too much pain to talk ( when my head was getting numbed)

They were always asking me if I was ok whenever I went quiet or started shaking - very much appreciated. After the operation I was looked after well, cleaned up and given all the information which I needed for my aftercare. Could not recommend the dermatology department enough, Great friendly staff!
