(as the patient),

Lovely place. Good facilities.. Good ideas from the Occupational Therapists about having a green/ambient/ chill out room at Rowan 1.

I think the outside space on Rowan 1 is a little bit cluttered and messy and could do with a bit of tidying up. We need a chance to sit down outside with a cup of coffee.

I feel humbled. We need to get rid of the stigma of mental health.

The staff do a tremendous job but the night staff need to remember to do the basics and be a bit friendlier.

Hi Karlos,


Many thanks for your kind feedback - your comments during the patient meeting on Wednesday was also very helpful with regards to developing the service we provide.

I note from our discussion after the meeting that you had a difficult night, following your admission to the ward and would appreciate if we could talk about this in more detail, so that I can feedback to staff and look at any learning points that we can take forward. This will also give us the opportunity to discuss further with yourself in view of individual care planning with your Key Worker and the team.

I would be very grateful if we could take a look at the outside area in question, with our Environment Co-ordinator, Vicky and gain some ideas with how we could use the outside area more effectively and ensure that this area is maintained to a good standard.

We have run out of superlatives to describe the work that Vicky does for Rowan 1 and Rowan 2. She does a superb job to a very high standard- I will be sure to pass on your feedback, which I'm sure she will be very appreciative of.
