"accident n emergency"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Accident and emergency

went to ane as mother was brought by ambulance while there my daughter was booked in as also ill by a receptionist we clearly explained that we both would be sat with my mother and when my daughter was called could they come to let us know at the bay mum was in they said fine all noted few hours later we asked where on the list to be seen my daughter was to be informed shed been called and as hadnt answered her name removed so we had to wait even further as she had to be put back on prior to getting an answer when asking the receptionist they kept telling us to ask at the nurses station but after waiting at the desk for over 15 minutes with no reccognition went bk round to desk to get answer my daughter hadnt replied to call i feel the reception or lack of it got from the employee left alot to be desired we understand the unit is very busy esp the nurses station but a lack of communication caused us a longer wait to be seen and also caused nursing staff more work
