Despite the fact A&E was incredibly busy and the nurses were run off their feet trying to see to everyone, they went above and beyond and with a cheery manner too!
Was in and out within 3 hours after my mum shattered her big toe bone, and the care we received was excellent. One nurse assisted in cleaning my mums wound despite being on their break and as we were leaving one of the nurses we had seen before, saw us as they were going on their break and helped us get my mum in the car, they even returned the wheelchair for me back to the main reception.
Another doctor/nurse also helped with getting my mum her prescription even though the hospital pharmacy was shut for the day.
They made sure my mum was comfortable and not in pain, and we were seen very quickly in each dept we visited. (Triage, X-ray, Minors and then Majors).
They really don't get enough thanks, I wish I caught their names so I could thank them again. Brilliant service, lovely people.
