I have been a patient at Doncaster Royal Infirmary Hospital and I went to the Orthopaedic Department. The doctor that I saw was a specialist in his subject. The treatment that I went to the hospital for was to be treated for a bunion. He told me about my problem and all the alternatives so that I could go away and think about my options.
Car parking at the hospital is a major issue. I have taken a taxi the last few times I have had an appointment as there is no guarantee of a place. I have often had to park in the side streets. I am in good health, but, I do not envy anyone who has to park a fair distance away.
Overall my last visit was good if you however had asked me about my experiences when my mother and father were in the hospital some years ago I would probably have written something quite different!
