"Understanding of patient's other needs"

We have had amazingly sensitive care from many members of staff in both the urology department and radiotherapy department. My husband has severe mental health problems and his needs relating to these were put in place without a fuss and staff without fail went above and beyond to make sure that he felt safe and comfortable. This meant he was able to remain calm and be involved in the decisions about his care. This level of understanding meant that he did not become agitated and meant that stress levels for both of us were kept to a minimum. Staff are to be commended, thank you.
