"Rods out!"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Cardiology Lincoln County Hospital / Paediatrics

(as the patient),

I arrived at the hospital early in the morning. First of all the nurse took all my details, He was really kind and friendly. Then the anesthetist came and told me what they were going to do. She was nice too.

About half an hour later, I was take up to the operating theatre and was given general anesthetic. They were a little concerned that my heart rate was low (it was 59), but they explained that it was fine and I was fit!

After surgery, my mum came to collect me. I was very tired!

After a good sleep a nurse asked me if I was hungry. I was! I had beans on toast which was delicious!

Everyone was so kind to me during my stay at the hospital in the children's ward.
