(as a carer),

My partner was put on Amberwood for 5 days, the staff seemed nice at first then. Each time I visited I noticed a change in attitude after a couple of days. They seem to not to care about the patients and don't look happy to see you. Also I feel the care on the ward is terrible, the place feels like a conveyor belt want you out quick as possible. I went to a c. p. a meeting and my partner was discharged way too soon. He was back 5 days later. This time on Cherrywood. The staff on there were lovely and this time he was looked after properly. wished he was there in the beginning.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not find the staff caring or engaging on one of our wards, although pleased that your experience was more positive at Cherrywood Ward.

We would hope that patient and visitors are made to feel welcome and cared for and would be pleased to better understand your experience and see what we could learn to help us improve.
