"The surgical and ward teams were fantastic"

I was booked in for an elective c section earlier this month. My experience was fantastic. Both the surgical and Ashgrove ward teams were incredible - so warm, supportive and encouraging. They turned an experience I was quite fearful of, into a very special time for all of our family. From the warm welcome we received from both the Ashgrove and the surgical team, to the anaesthetist's banter to keep us distracted during the procedure, we were made to feel so at ease. The staff at Ashgrove ward were fantastic when it came to helping me through the early stages of recovery and breastfeeding. I couldn't have asked for more support. The staff turned a much dreaded time into a beautiful memorable experience. I can't thank them enough! Even the food was delicious: )
