I had extremely high hopes for the Cassel program I knew it would be hard but nothing prepared me for how hard. The support and challenges you get from living in a community of patients was good but I felt too much pressure is left with the patients. As I started to get into hard stuff in therapy I felt like I needed some extra support but this was not available and the lack of communication between staff left me feeling disheartened. I'm sure the program works for some but I found out that any other diagnosis be it physical or mental other than bpd was dismissed. I have taken positives from being there although they could improve on a lot. It is boot camp ( man up or fail). Good luck to the next Cassel patients
