"Wait time to be admitted"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

I am disgruntled to find that my father had to wait 23 hours in a corridor in A&E to be admitted to a ward. While I was not there personally, my family said he was made comfortable and generally looked after been given initial treatment.

I just cant believe that this could happen.
