The service provided by the maternity unit was excellent. From start to finish, I was impressed with the level of care and professionalism from all of the staff.
The labour itself went very smoothly and I was made to feel at ease by a wonderful midwife and student nurse.
The staff on the M1 ward were also superb. The first night with my newborn was particularly difficult, as we were struggling with breastfeeding, but I was fortunate enough to have the support of various midwives throughout the night. I would definitely have struggled without them!
Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the care and treatment I received.
