About: Medium Secure Division / Prichard

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It is ok at St Andrew's. I have been here for 4 years and came from prison. I used to get into a lot of fights in prison because I had to prove myself there. In prison you don't get as much freedom as you do here. Some of the staff are ok, but some can be rude to us. I have sessions everyday which I think is good and I am very involved in my care plans although sometimes they are hard to understand because I am dyslexic and I don't like big words. The staff do explain things to me and my care co-ordinator is very good. In about three months I can move down, but I keep messing up. I know what I need to do but I find it hard. Overall things are moving in the right direction for me.

I am sorry to read that staff are sometimes rude to you. It is so important that we get this feedback so that we can improve things thank you! It’s great that you feel things are progressing; keep up the good work
