"Maternity services review - outstanding care"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Maternity care

In a sea of negativity & complaints I have to shout loudly about the excellent care & support myself & my husband have received here at the Women's unit at Stepping Hill

We sadly have had to endure 4 traumatic weeks with concerns raised at our 12wk scan for our unborn baby.

We were taken care of & treated with such dignity & respect throughout this sad journey

From the ultrasound staff, amazing antenatal senior sister, delivery suite midwives & gynae ward staff all took time, listened & helped us make decisions.

We sadly lost our baby at 15wks, but if it's possible, it was made easier as were taken care of so well

I would truly recommend this Hospital & do hope in the future it will be in happier circumstances for us

I would firstly like to offer my condolences to you and your husband on the loss of your baby. I was pleased to read your comments about the care provided by staff at Stepping Hill Hospital to you and your husband at that difficult time. It was also lovely to read that you were looked after with dignity and care and all staff took there time to listen and help you both make your decisions.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to post such kind words and will ensure your feedback is shared with management team to pass onto all the staff.
