As the diagnosis of endocarditis was gained within 36 hours Wythenshawe had a good chance of saving my life.
Throughout my 6 weeks of treatment and subsequent open heart surgery for a new valve I received a level of service and care that has left a deep impression on me.
Further rehabilitation put me on course for recovery post discharge without which I feel there may have been some delay in returning to full time employment.
Before I lost my taste buds due to the life saving drugs I enjoyed the food.
Daily and 4 hourly contact with staff was always pleasant courteous and respectful
i won't mention where I felt peerless service is given however it needs to be said that such selfless service seems to be that which raises the hospital out of the ordinary in my opinion and why it makes our National Health Service so precious.
An heart opening experience in more ways than the physical......grateful thanks.
"Peerless service"
