"I walk out with hope and positivity"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I Saw Mr Schultz, as I had sight loss, and had to get it check due to having a rare condition Ehlers Danlos syndrome, it was amazing to see him treat me with respect listen to me, and even brings in trainees to learn, which I respect him for doing to make others aware of it. You should be proud to have him as part of your hospital team, he makes me feel at ease, I never walk out of his office in tears I walk out with hope and positivity He checked my eyes and arteries due to the connective tissue disorder. He never questions my judgement or medical knowledge either.....there are some doctors within the hospital and I have left in tears who don't know about the condition and more awareness needs to be raised of it and could learn something from him he is a true leader in clinical medicine and translational medicine......

Thank you so much for your kind praise of Mr Schultz’s treatment. We will ensure this is passed on to him.
