Having had extreme pain I rang 111 and was advised to go to A and E after seeing a doctor in acute care we waited in the filthy waiting department for a further 6 hours to see a doctor during which my blood and blood pressure was taken when I finally saw a doctor I may as well have not bothered they said it would probably happen again and nothing would be done unless it became infected and they would inform my GP to request a scan ! I asked if there was anything they advised and was told buscapan ! No pain killers were given.
I went the next day to my own G P who was much more helpful and he gave me pain killers and said they would request a scan I am still waiting !
