About: Cumberland Infirmary

Attended the above dept today with stomach churning,..re needing the camera In the stomach. From the Nurse checking intial information, to nurses in the clinic keeping me calm and informed, to the Consulatant doing this procedure, I have never felt so relaxed and treated and talked to like a human being and having everything explained every step of the way, what a difference it made to this procedure. From lovely people being in the Care Profession..and today this showed that they did care. well done all of you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of attending the Endoscopy department at the Cumberland Infirmary. I can understand that stomach churning feeling but I am very pleased that it became a positive experience and the staff will be delighted to hear that they made you feel calm, relaxed and fully informed. The team work very hard to ensure patients are comfortable and at ease during their procedure. I shall ensure your comments are passed to the team.
