On Friday 3rd February I came to the department to have a broken tooth removed.
Although I am 62 I was as scared as a 5 year old at the thought of the treatment.
On arrival the Receptionist was so welcoming and friendly and I barely had time to remove my coat when a member of staff came to collect me.
I explained how terrified I was and they were very reassuring, very kind and understanding, and explained my fears to the other assistant in the surgery and to the surgeon who removed my tooth. The surgeon had such a lovely manner, chatting to put me at ease , explaining everything that would happen, and reassuring me that they would make sure I didn’t feel anything and they were right!
After the (painless) injections they removed the tooth and I didn’t even realise they had done it – I thought they were still exploring the tooth.
I cant tell you how relieved I was – if I ever have to return for treatment I will have no qualms at all and will sing your departments praises to all who will listen.
I wanted to say a huge thank you to them all for not just doing their jobs efficiently and effectively but doing them in such a lovely way.
Could you please make sure they get to see this, and their bosses too!!
