"Endoscopy Department"

I had a colonoscopy at the new Endoscopy Department. I have to say what a first class department it is. From the receptionist who gave a cheery welcome and put me at ease. The nursing staff and the consultant who did my colonoscopy were fantastic. I know many people have a fear of any treatment to do with the bowel, please don't hesitate if you are at all worried and things don't feel right get it checked out. My Colonoscopy was a recall after five years when I had polyps removed, the good news was they had not returned. I am sick of newspapers and TV media finding fault with our great NHS they very rarely praise any of the great work done in many Departments of our hospitals I will forever be thankful to Sunderland Royal Hospital and all of their wonderful staff.
