"PAINFUL MRI"

About: Priory Hospital

I was advised to book a steroid injection and MRI, both of which were on the same evening. I asked when booking the MRI if it would be ok as I had steroid injection prior. I was told it would be fine.

Had good appointment with dr who gave steroid injection and whilst there was discomfort and pressure it was not extremely painful.

I waited an hour in main hospital before hobbling a bit to MRI building.

The MRI was extremely uncomfortable and almost unbearable pain as my heel was held in the most uncomfortable position for my bursitis. I did not want to stop the scan and potentially have to return so tried to bare the pain. I wish someone had of told me how long it would take and that there could be pain especially after the steroid injection. I have been in floods of tears through frustration and pain.
